Hey babes,

I’m writing this from the beautiful ☀️ Miami while I’m here for Art Basel for the third time in a row. It’s wild every time. The people who come here are all doing something cool with their lives — changing the world, living out their dreams. No one’s playing it safe. Everyone’s trying to make something happen. It feels good to be in that energy right now ✨.

Basel week basically turns the whole city into a giant music fest 🎶. Every restaurant, lounge, club, pool… there’s a DJ. The biggest artists in the world are playing all week. There’s Factory Town, Toe Jam, the famous Space (omg I bought the SICKEST merch last night 😭🔥), and a ton of pop-up venues. And if you’re wondering how much actual art I’ve seen… basically none. Our Airbnb has some random art on the walls so I’m counting that 😂. I even flew down my DJ decks because you know your girl loves to throw an after 😉.

But even while I’m here, I’m still thinking about our amazing community in Boston. Miami already has a strong scene, but Boston is on the rise in such a real way. We have so much talent, so many people who care, and so much room to grow. It only works if you guys keep showing up. Go to the shows. Support your local DJs. Make the rooms feel alive. That’s how a real community grows 💫.

We don’t NEED to fly to Miami or New York or Ibiza to hear good music. Boston has plenty of it right at home 🖤.

So whether you’re running around Basel or basling in Boston, I’m sending you all the love. Go make some magic this week ✨.

NEW SHOW ALERT!

First of all, thank you to everyone who came out this past weekend to the The Grand when I opened for Amal Nemer. The turnout was so good and you could feel that everyone was there for the music. Her set was fire and I loved getting to play a sexy Latin Afro tech set.

Cool story: I met Proppa a couple weeks ago at the Chicago Music Nexus DJ conference after he played a crazy afters in a pizza shop. He told me he was coming to Boston and wanted to request me as his opener… and he actually did. SICK!

For my DJs out there asking me advice on how to get booked: go support the artists you love. Be on the dance floor. Meet people. That’s how you get booked. Networking is the cheat code. I promise you its that simple. Oh… and practice practice practice.
